Tomorrowland 2023: When Music Becomes Magic and Dreams Come True

I always dreamed of Tomorrowland.
I watched the videos, looked at the photos, listened to the sets... and imagined: what must it feel like to be there? To feel the music on your skin? To be part of that colourful utopia?
In 2023, the impossible became reality. And it was even more beautiful than I had ever dreamed.

My heart beats to the rhythm of melodic techno and techno, and perhaps that’s why the Freedom Stage became my favourite corner.
The ceiling seemed to breathe with us, with lights falling like stars and giant butterflies floating between the beats — a kind of futuristic forest, where music was the common language.

I went with a group of friends, but there, everyone felt like a friend.
The atmosphere was pure love, pure connection. It felt as if we had all known each other forever — as if the music had dissolved every barrier, distance, and language.

There was a moment that truly moved me:
a guided tour through the stages led by my friends.
They showed me every corner of that alternative universe.
They told me stories, explained the meaning behind each stage — as if Tomorrowland was an enchanted book I was finally learning to read.

Seeing so many people together, with eyes glowing and feet dancing, made me feel small and huge at the same time.
Small, in the face of the festival’s grandeur.
Huge, for being there and living it fully.

We stayed in Dreamville, the camping area that’s so much more than just accommodation — it’s a world within a world.
We woke up with smiles, shared improvised breakfasts, and left early each day.
We only returned when the last beat faded into the night.

It was one of those rare moments in life when everything feels right.
The music. The friendship. The freedom.
And me. Whole, in the middle of it all.

 
In the next post, I’ll go into detail about each day — from the mornings in Dreamville to the magical moments between stages.
Because some stories deserve to be told slowly.
And this… is one of them.

Tomorrowland 2023: Quando a Música é Magia e o Sonho Vira Realidade

Sempre sonhei com o Tomorrowland.
Via os vídeos, as fotos, ouvia os sets... e imaginava: como será estar ali? Sentir a música na pele? Fazer parte daquela utopia colorida?
Em 2023, o impossível tornou-se possível. E foi ainda mais bonito do que nos meus sonhos.

O meu coração bate ao ritmo do melodic techno e techno, e talvez por isso o Freedom Stage se tenha tornado o meu cantinho preferido.
O tecto parecia respirar connosco, com luzes que caíam como estrelas e borboletas gigantes a voar entre os beats — uma espécie de floresta futurista, onde a música era a linguagem comum.

Fui com um grupo de amigos, mas ali, todos eram nossos amigos.
O ambiente era puro amor, pura conexão. Era como se todos nos conhecêssemos há muito tempo, como se a música tivesse dissolvido as barreiras, as distâncias, as línguas.

Houve um momento que me emocionou de verdade:
a visita guiada dos meus amigos pelos palcos.
Mostraram-me os cantos e recantos daquele universo alternativo.
Contaram-me histórias, explicaram-me os significados por trás de cada palco — como se o Tomorrowland fosse um livro encantado que eu estava finalmente a aprender a ler.

Ver tanta gente junta, com os olhos a brilhar e os pés a dançar, fez-me sentir pequenina e gigante ao mesmo tempo.
Pequenina, perante a grandiosidade daquele festival.
Gigante, por estar ali, a viver tudo aquilo.

Ficámos na Dreamville, o parque de campismo que é mais do que um alojamento — é um mundo dentro de outro mundo.
Acordávamos com sorrisos, partilhávamos pequenos-almoços improvisados, e logo de manhã partíamos rumo ao recinto. Só voltávamos quando a última batida se calava na madrugada.

Foi um daqueles momentos raros da vida em que sentimos que tudo faz sentido.
A música. A amizade. A liberdade.
E eu. No meio de tudo isso, inteira.

Porque há histórias que merecem ser contadas com tempo.
